avocis also hoists a flag in Austria

The communications service provider avocis is opening its first Austrian site in Vienna at the end of the year which will expand its presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). From its office in Vienna, avocis supports one of the leading Austrian companies in telecommunications in its customer service going forward. Upon its opening, the communication service provider will have approximately 30 employees which will increase to some 300 employees by the end of 2014.
The decision to represent Austria as part of all three major German-speaking countries is the logical continuation of the company's strategy, as Marcus Meloni, CEO and founder of avocis AG, explains: “Austria is a highly exciting market for us that we’ve observed for some time. We look forward to getting started right away with such exciting customers with extremely high growth prospects. This step will not only complement our presence in the DACH region but also document our clear focus on quality leadership in the German-speaking outsourcing market for customer care services.”
With its expansion in Austria, avocis relies on a steadily growing market. In the past five years alone, the annual growth rate here in the customer care sector has amounted to more than ten percent; even 12.8% is expected for 2012. Currently in Austria, there are 500 call centers and approximately 35,000 employed in the customer care sector whose numbers are rising. “The Austrian outsourcing market for customer care and BPO services has plenty of room for improvement. The outsourcing quote is currently about eight percent. Local industry experts agree that this market will increase in the next two to three years to 15 to 17 percent,” says Meloni.
Avocis Austria set up all facilities in modern office spaces located in the "space2move" building of the Döbling neighborhood in Vienna which is ideally connected to transport and infrastructure. “As was the case when choosing our last location in Berlin in 2011, we again searched for one with spacious ambience,” says Thomas Güther, Director of Marketing & Sales for avocis in Germany, Switzerland and now Austria. “With the space2move option, we offer our employees an attractive working environment that will in turn have a positive impact on our performance. In the long run, we’d like to establish a “place to be” in Austria for the call center sector.”

avocis and admazing establish joint venture for social media communication

The communications service provider, avocis, and the online advertising agency, admazing, are joining forces with immediate effect to combine their know-how in the «avocis interactive» joint venture. This new company will be providing services in the Social Media Monitoring, Community Building, Online Marketing and Community Management sectors. Traditional call centre know-how forms the central focus, however: professional dialogue with the target group on behalf of companies and organisations. Implementation will be carried out by a trained team, specialised in customer dialogue in the social media sector. avocis is thereby taking an important step forward in the direction of new media and strengthening its position as a comprehensive communications service provider.
The new joint venture has comprehensive technical and personnel resources at its disposal, as well as profound know-how in sustaining dialogue on all online channels. These include facebook, forums, blogs, live chats and twitter. Professional implementation and maintenance of all activities and channels is a decisive factor here. «With over 6,500 employees we are the ideal partner for long-term communication on all channels – and, thanks to avocis interactive, now also via the Internet», says Marcus Meloni, CEO of avocis AG.
The issue of long-term commitment, in particular, had proved to be a great challenge for many companies up until now, because users expect short reaction times twenty-four-seven, even during intensive moments. With its team specially trained in social media dialogue, avocis interactive offers support around the clock in this area particularly. It doesn't matter whether it concerns in-house channels such as facebook pages, or external channels such as specialist forums. Seldom-used facebook pages and unanswered questions in online forums therefore belong to the past. TÜV Rheinland Presents Certificate to avocis NRW and avocis Mannheim for Client Data Protection

Olaf Siemens, Managing Director of TÜV Rheinland i-sec GmbH, presented the certificate of quality for client data protection to Albert Klotz, Chairman of the Management Board at avocis Deutschland, and Bernd Moll, Area Director of Group Data Protection in the avocis Group. Both accepted the certificate on behalf of avocis NRW and Mannheim. The certificate confirms that these locations are certified according to the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) effective immediately.
Prior to this, TÜV Rheinland examined the established processes for collecting, processing, saving, and transmitting client data given relevant legal guidelines and requirements in Krefeld, Düsseldorf Airport, and City as well as Mannheim. By presenting the certificate yesterday, Olaf Siemens acknowledged that the data protection in all documentations, standardized processes, in personnel, in the inbound and outbound area, in IT and for client requirements as part of order processing meet legal stipulations.
“Handling client data in a legally compliant manner is a top priority for us and so we are very pleased to receive this award,” explains Bernd Moll. ”Thanks to this certificate we can be ensured of our clients’ confidence.” In future, avocis also plans to take other certifications. “Regularly renewed certifications are a must to delivery clients superior quality,” concludes Albert Klotz.
